Young Directors' Bursary
The Young Directors' Bursary was established to assist Board and Intern Directors (ages 39 and under) with their professional development and governance training. The annual conference is not only a great learning environment, but a wonderful opportunity for young Directors to network and engage with system leaders from across Ontario and nationally - and meet potential mentors to help them through their governance journey. Young directors leave the conference feeling more confident in their decision-making skills and with new knowledge and tools to share with their Boards!

The Board approved three bursaries for the 2025 conference year, which covers the cost of the applicant's conference registration fee and includes all meals and activities that take place during the conference. It does not include the cost of transportation to and from the conference venue, accommodations, or the evening meals (not part of the conference), which are the sole responsibility of the applicant or the organization they are applying from. Applicants will be considered on a first come, first serve basis (therefore whichever date comes first).
The bursary application for this year is now closed.
Applicants are encouraged to carefully review the steps below before they begin, as an application is not complete until all items have been submitted and received.
